Zeashan is a photographer committed to social change. He has worked with non-profits in education as well as fashion, music, and commercial brands, and his photographs have been published in news media in India and the UAE.
His practice explores migrantised identities and the complexity of belonging within today's global cities. This work is informed by his experiences teaching in marginalised communities in India, as well as by his own migration story — born in Kerala, he has lived between India and the UAE before moving to the UK.
Now based in London, he left a career in international development to take up photography professionally, fueled by a deep commitment towards justice and liberation for all.
